Kingston & Associates Marketing adds new Quality Control Inspector

IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO-Sept 7, 2012- After an extensive search and interview process, Kingston and Associates Marketing proudly welcomes a new addition to its Quality Control Team. Effective August 27th, Edgar Salazar has been named the new QC/QA and Field Inspector for its Monterey, California office. He will oversee Quality Control & Assurance for all of Kingston's domestic fresh produce programs in the West and Northwest region.

Edgar comes to Kingston having worked the last six years as a Quality Assurance Inspector for Markon Cooperative. Through this experience, Edgar has developed extensive knowledge in quality inspections, crop assessment reporting, food safety, food security protocols and customer service. Prior to Markon, Edgar worked for Taylor Farms in Salinas, CA where he held positions in both the Quality Assurance and Research & Development departments. "It's exciting anytime you can add experienced talent to your organization - that along with Edgar's qualifications are key for the growth that lies ahead for our Kingston programs," explained President Ken Nabal. Growing up in the Salinas valley and a native of Gonzales, CA, Edgar will work from Kingston's Monterey, CA sales office where he will report to the company's Senior Procurement Manager, Richard Connelly. "We are excited to have Edgar as part of the team," commented Connelly. He added, "Our programs continue to grow and our 'Boots on the Ground' focus is key to ensuring our customers receive the highest quality product on a daily basis. Edgar is the man for the job!"
